March 9 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Have you ever been curious about how radios or satellites communicate? It’s fascinating! Join us Saturday morning as we have the wonderful opportunity to hear from Mark Gibson, an Astronomer and Ham Radio Operator. He’ll be sharing all about the science behind waves and how we actually utilize them in our day-to-day lives. It’s bound to be a great discussion, so don’t miss out!

Second Saturday Science presents an excellent opportunity for museum visitors to expand their knowledge on various subjects that captivate their interests. Bi-monthly, we offer engaging informative lectures and interactive activities centered around diverse scientific themes. As part of our commitment to providing valuable educational experiences, we frequently extend invitations to external experts who graciously share their expertise with our esteemed audience.
