Join us as we stretch, bounce, and ooze into the world of polymers! Students will explore the chemistry of these unique molecules, experiment with different polymer reactions, and even create their own bouncy ball to take home. Along the way, we’ll uncover how polymers are used in everyday life—from plastics to slime. $20 per participant.

Homeschool Days are specially designed instructional programs for homeschool students ages 6 – 18. Each session includes an interactive educational program with hands-on activities intended for a wide age range. Individual students or groups are welcome to attend. Preregistration is required for participation.

Homeschool Days are scheduled every third Thursday, September through April; however, program dates near Christmas and Easter may differ. Be sure to check the calendar for the correct class dates.

Two sessions of the same program will be available on Homeschool Days. The morning session will run from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m., and the afternoon session will run from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Both sessions will cover the same content for grades K–12, unless otherwise specified in the program description.

Each participating student must be accompanied by an adult chaperone who will stay and supervise their student(s) throughout the program. Non-participating children brought by the chaperone will be charged the regular admission rate at the door. Non-participating children must be accompanied by an adult at all times during their museum visit.

Registration: Can be completed online, by phone, or in person. Please note that the registration process is not complete until payment for the participating student(s) has been made – we cannot “hold” spots without payment. Pricing for individual programs varies according to the cost of the supplies for the program. Only one participant per registration form. Please note that each registration form is completed for one participant only. If you have multiple children, kindly fill out a separate form for each of them.

Payment: Program fees are listed for each HSD session. Payment is due in full to complete registration and hold your child’s seat for HSD program(s). Payment instructions are included at the end of this form. No refunds will be given for participant cancellations once your child is registered. We are accepting registrations up to the Monday that is ten days prior to the Thursday of the program’s start.

Cancellations: Imagination Station reserves the right to cancel programs due to low enrollment. Participants will be notified by the Friday preceding the program’s start on Thursday if the program will be canceled. A full refund (or credit toward a different Homeschool Day) will be issued if Homeschool Days are canceled by Imagination Station. No refunds will be given for participant cancellations.

Seating is limited to 30 students per session. In addition, students must be registered at least 10 days prior to the program to allow for the purchase of necessary supplies.

On program days, students should plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the program. The doors of the program room will close at 9:35am and 1:05pm. Please make every effort to arrive on time.
