Step into the glow after hours and explore the science of light and shadow! Join us at the museum after hours from 5–7 PM with hands-on activity tables spread throughout the main exhibit floor.

Experiment with flashlights, mirrors, prisms, colored lenses, and shadow-casting  as you discover how light moves, bends, reflects, and transforms the world around us. Create dramatic shadows, explore how objects change when light hits them from different angles, and bring the world to life with shadow puppets.

From dazzling reflections to mysterious silhouettes, this interactive evening invites curious minds of all ages to investigate how light and shadow work—and how they’re used in the real world.
