March is the perfect time to explore the power of wind! Joinus for Fabulous Friday: Windy Weather, a free, hands-on family sciencenight inspired by The Franklin Institute’s Leap into Science program.

Discover how invisible air can move powerful objects as youexplore interactive activity stations throughout the museum:

·      Build and launch air rocket

·       Designand test your own wind detector

·       Experiment with what moves in a breeze—and what doesn’t

·       Use squeeze bottles and fans to become a “leaf blower” scientist

·       Test the force of wind with our air cannon challenge

Families will explore the difference between a gentle breeze and a strong gust while observing, predicting, testing, and redesigning—just like real scientists.
