Preschool Science Says: Sink or Float

June 11 @ 10:00 am - 10:30 am

Free

Did you know that from a young age children can already figure out that a beach ball floats while a rock sinks? They also quickly notice that some objects float and others sink. And guess what? It turns out that certain objects can even float or sink depending on the situation. How cool is that? So, if you’re up for some fun, let’s jump into some hands-on experiments with objects in water. Just a little heads up, we might end up getting a bit wet, but hey, that’s all part of the excitement!

Preschool Science Says is a FREE, interactive program designed to build interest and skills in science and literacy for children ages 3-5, that integrates open-ended science activities with children’s books for young children to learn and explore.

Please register online. The doors will be open from 9:45-10:30am. The museum will close at 11:30am.
