Animal Encounters
Meet and learn about some of our fascinating animal ambassadors! Guests get hands-on with wildlife and explore what makes each creature unique; perfect for curious kids who love animals.

Dino-Mite Adventure
 Step back in time for a prehistoric adventure! Young explorers will dig, discover, and investigate the world of dinosaurs through fun, hands-on activities that spark imagination.

Gross Science
 Slimy, squishy, and seriously fun! This program lets kids explore science in a hands-on, playful way that’s sure to delight and surprise.

Out of This World
 Blast off into a space-themed adventure! Guests will investigate concepts of flight and space through interactive, high-energy activities that get everyone moving and experimenting.

Mad Science
 Get ready for big reactions and eye-catching experiments! Kids will explore exciting science demonstrations that wow the crowd and inspire curiosity.

Creepy Crawly Critters
Get ready to explore the tiny world of insects and other creepy crawlies! Guests will take a closer look at these fascinating creatures and discover what makes them so important (and so cool) through hands-on, up-close experiences. Perfect for kids who love all things wiggly, creepy, and curious.

Birthday Party Fine Print:
1. Persons reserving the time may arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled party time to set up.
2. No guest will be sent to the party area until the scheduled party time slot.
3. Admission to the museum is for 15 children (includes the birthday child and siblings) as well as 10 adults (includes parents, guardian, grandparents).4. Parking is in the rear of the building and along Douglas Street. Please do not block any vehicles in the parking lot.
5. We do not allow glitter, tape on the walls, or pinatas.
6. All personal items should be removed from the party room at the end of your party time.
7. A fee of $50.00 per 15 minutes over your allotted room time will be charged.
8. A copy of the party details will be emailed to you.

Other Rentals

Our beautiful historic building is also available for daytime meetings and evening events.  Rental rates start at $300 for the courtroom during business hours and $400 for after-hour events from 5:30 - 10:30 p.m. To inquire about rentals, please contact the museum at (252) 291-5113 or [email protected].
