The academy is full of exciting and unique learning adventures each week. From crazy chemistry to ancient engineering, there is something for everyone! Ages 6-14

Celebrations Around the World Summer Camp

Imagine having a year of celebrations in just one week. That’s exactly what we’ll do in this summer camp! Campers begin each day by learning about a new holiday or festival from another culture. They’ll then use what they learn to play fun games, design colorful costumes, and make tasty food!

Inventor’s STEM Camp

Dive into STEM during Inventor’s Camp this summer! Work with a team to identify problems, brainstorm ideas, and design solutions. Then teams will work together to build new inventions. Every day there is a new challenge to tackle! It’s time to get creative!

Mad Science Summer Camp

Mad Science is a summer camp full of exciting experiments! Be amazed as our mad scientists make things go BOOM! Get sticky making slime and testing mixtures. By the end of the week, you will be a mad scientist too!

Animal Adventure Summer Camp

Explore the worlds of other living creatures in Animal Adventures summer camp. Meet a new animal friend every day. Discover where they live, what food they eat, and how they behave. Play animal games, create animal art and build animal houses with your fellow campers.

Textile Makers’ Summer Camp

Explore weaving, crocheting, knitting, fibers, yarns, dying, and more during Textile Makers’ Camp this summer. Textile art is one of the oldest forms of art in history and has played a part in functional and decorative objects for tens of thousands of years. Spend the week exploring the world of textiles. Learn the history and imagine the future as you create new fiber art each day.

Castaway Island Summer Camp

Set sail for a summer adventure during Castaway Island camp! The crew will learn about pirate life and how to survive when shipwrecked on a deserted island. Work as a team to build shelter, design tools, and find food.

Ancient Engineering STEM Camp

Imagine a world with no trucks, cranes, or phones during Ancient Engineering STEM camp this summer. How did humans survive the stone age? When did Romans get running water into cities? Why did engineers in India build catapults? Work in teams using simple tools to design new solutions to old problems.

Growing Things Summer Camp

Learn how everything grows in the Growing Things camp this summer. Discover how plants grow by planting seeds, watching them sprout, and dissecting flowers. Then explore how animals and people grow through their life cycles. Did you know even rocks can grow?

Member discounts are available for those who have an active membership to Imagination Station during calendar year 2022. You can purchase or renew a membership during the registration process to receive the member discount.


Children are only eligible to register for a camp if they fall within the appropriate age range for that specific camp. All 2022 camps are open for children ages 6 to 14.


You must complete the Registration and Health/Permission forms and submit them with payment in order for your child to be registered – we cannot “hold” spots without payment.


Camp fees are listed for each camp. Full payment is due at the time of registration. No refunds will be given for participant cancellations once your child is registered. We are accepting registrations up to the Friday that is ten days prior to the Monday of the camp’s start.


Imagination Station reserves the right to cancel camps due to low enrollment. Campers will be notified by the Tuesday preceding the camp’s start on Monday if the camp will be canceled. A full refund (or credit toward a different camp) will be issued if summer camps are canceled by Imagination Station. No refunds will be given for participant cancellations.

Arrivals and Departures:

All campers are to check in at the museum no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the start of camp. Morning camps begin promptly at 9:00 am. and afternoon camps begin at 1:00 pm., and you must accompany your child into the building and sign them in. Please call Imagination Station if your child will be late or not attending a day of camp. When dropping off and picking up your child, you will be required to sign them in/out. Only persons authorized on the Permission Form will be allowed to pick up your child. If you are more than 30 minutes late picking up your camper, a $10.00 fee will be assessed.


Imagination Station is looking for a few talented, enthusiastic and dedicated youth Camp Counselors ages 16-18 to help make our summer camp 2022 season AMAZING! Participants will receive an official letter documenting hours and service for school or civic organizations that require volunteer hours. You MUST be willing and able to attend the entire camp session you've signed up for, and engage with both the instructor(s) and the campers to enhance the educational experience AND the fun!
