George Washington Carver

To many, George Washington Carver is known as "the peanut man" due to his study and promotion of the peanut. However, George Washington Carver was much more than that; he was a true renaissance man, rising from slave to scientist, artist, musician, and humanitarian.

This exhibit is co-located at the Imagination Station and the Oliver Nestus Freeman Round House Museum, both in Wilson, NC.
